Update: Club Accepts VFF Findings and Sanctions
The VFF panel finds against the club over the contaminated pre-match meal. The Board accepts the sanction and will not appeal.
Following the conclusion of the VFF disciplinary hearing, Dynamo Bresno can confirm we have received the panel's final verdict regarding the events at the National Elite Training Centre.
The investigation concluded that former manager Miros Ganivic acted entirely outside club protocols by coercing a young catering intern, and vulnerable club supporter, into altering the rivals' pre-match meal. The panel found the club guilty of gross ungentlemanly conduct and unsporting behaviour due to the severe contamination of what the media has termed ‘the rotten ragout’.
As a result, the VFF has handed down an immediate sporting sanction. Because the guilt is entirely clear, the Board of Directors has delivered an unhappy but compliant acceptance of the punishment. We will not lodge an appeal.
We understand this news is devastating to our players and fans alike, but we must take responsibility for the actions of our former employee.
