Welcome Home: Anton Varga Appointed First-Team Manager
Local boy and former Valrekian international Anton Varga returns to Bresno on a three-year deal. “I know where this club belongs.”
Dynamo Bresno is proud to officially announce the appointment of local boy and former Valrekian international Anton Varga as our new first-team manager. Varga has signed a three-year contract at the Stade du Cœur de Feu.
Born in Bresno's industrial zone, Varga embodies the authentic spirit, resilience, and work ethic of our city. A highly respected former midfielder with 27 caps for the national team, Anton returns to his roots following an exceptional managerial tenure that saw him mastermind Red Star Polvan's historic rise through the divisions.
“Anton Varga is exactly the leader this football club needs. He understands the fabric of Bresno. He knows what it means to fight for this badge.” — Chairman Tomas Montiselle
Varga will take immediate charge of the first-team squad as pre-season training commences in the coming weeks.
In his first official club interview, Varga delivered a clear message to the supporters: “I know where this club comes from, and I know where it belongs. We have a mountain to climb to rebuild our reputation, but we do it together, with hard work, discipline, and absolute focus on the pitch. The work starts today.”
Welcome home, Anton.
