Message From The Board: Looking To The Future

A bitter pill: finishing fourth and stripped of Europe. The Chairman writes to the Dynamo faithful on rebuilding trust — and going again.

To the Dynamo Faithful,

The dust is beginning to settle on a week that has permanently altered the history of our great club. Following our enforced points deduction, we have officially finished fourth in the league, entirely missing out on the European stage we fought so hard to reach.

To see our title stripped away due to a scandal and investigation beyond, rather than on, the pitch is a bitter pill to swallow. There is no hiding from the truth: the unthinkable actions of a few have ruined the hard work of the many. An entire season now lays in ruins, and these unprofessional actions have left the club in a right stew, both financially and reputationally.

We deeply apologise to the Velkovic Eagles, the intern whose loyalty was exploited, and most of all, to you, our fans. Our immediate priority is restoring the integrity of Dynamo Bresno. A rigorous review of our internal ethics, security and staff hiring protocols is already underway as we begin the difficult process of rebuilding your trust.

We will learn from this experience. We will come back better. We will come back stronger. We go again and next season nothing less than winning the title will be expected, in the right way and through sporting excellence. That I promise you all.
